
Wilson Yeo, Managing Director
Prior to his legal career, Wilson graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering (Civil) from NTU. He worked with the Land Transport Authority as a Programme Planning Engineer in projects worth more than 1 billion dollars and has experience in the construction and building industry.
After a midlife crisis, he wanted a change and decided to read law. He packed his bags and travelled to Australia to take up a full time law degree. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), having obtained the top 30% in his cohort. He is a member of the Singapore Academy of Law and the Law Society of Singapore.
He is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
He is an avid sports fan, especially football and tennis. He supports the team in red (not disclosing whether United or Pool) and in his opinion, the goat of tennis is Roger Federer.
Wilson has appeared before both the State Courts and the Supreme Court of Singapore.

- Acting for a publicly listed company in the grocery industry in a criminal matter.
- Representing a food establishment in a tenancy dispute in which costs were awarded at the High Court.
- Advising a subsidiary of a publicly listed company in a complex tenancy dispute involving a foodcourt operator and a hospital.
- Acting for a local company in a hire-purchase dispute, successfully overturning the State Courts’ decision in the High Court and obtaining damages.
- Representing a local construction company in a crane collapse matter and making submissions before the Court of Appeal.
- Acting for an elderly couple in a hit-and-run accident claim and successfully securing damages on their behalf.
- Representing a Datuk in a tenancy dispute and obtaining damages at trial.
- Acting for a spouse in a highly acrimonious divorce spanning two years, achieving a favourable outcome. He has also handled numerous contentious divorce matters involving complex discovery applications and allegations of asset dissipation.
- Representing individuals in contested probate and letters of administration proceedings.
Wilson regularly advises and represents local SMEs in a wide range of contractual and commercial disputes. He has acted for both landlords and tenants in tenancy-related matters and has consistently achieved successful outcomes for his clients. Wilson is also experienced in renovation and construction-related disputes, having acted for both homeowners and contractors. He is well-versed in resolving claims involving defective works, delays, payment disputes and contractual breaches, and works closely with clients to achieve practical and commercially sound outcomes.
In criminal practice, Wilson has acted as Defence Counsel in numerous cases. He has secured non-custodial sentences in theft and trespass matters and has represented accused persons in offences under the Road Traffic Act. He has also acted for companies and individuals in matters involving regulatory authorities such as PUB and NParks, as well as defending accused persons in serious sexual offence and voyeurism cases.
Beyond contentious work, Wilson advises on non-contentious matters including tenancy agreements, probate, simplified divorce proceedings, and the drafting and execution of wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney. He has also successfully made applications under the Mental Capacity Act for the appointment of deputies.
Wilson is a firm believer in mediation and the effective resolution of disputes wherever possible. He strives to achieve practical and commercially sensible settlements in his clients’ best interests. At the same time, he does not hesitate to pursue matters vigorously through trial where necessary to secure the best possible outcome for his clients.

Ang Boon Yaw 汪文耀, Of Counsel
Before embarking on his legal career, Boon Yaw graduated with a Bachelor in Banking and Finance from University of London. He worked in established financial institutions such as Evercore Asia, Schroders Investment Management, Cantor Fitzgerald Singapore and Bank of America Merrill Lynch covering functions such as client onboarding, regulatory compliance and transaction monitoring.
Boon Yaw was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018 and as an Australian Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2019 after reading law at the University of Tasmania, Australia.
Prior to joining Yeo Marini Law Corporation, he was the Head of the Legal and Compliance department in an established financial institution in Singapore.
Boon Yaw is bilingual in English and Mandarin. He is also well equipped to understand your legal concerns and is a keen listener. His experience in the legal industry includes commercial and corporate law, client due diligence, compliance, landlord-tenancy work, criminal defence litigation, general civil litigation, insolvency law and family law.
On the side, Boon Yaw enjoys playing badminton, cycling and swimming. Boon Yaw has also completed Ironman triathlon races in Western Australia, Singapore and Taiwan.

Acted for a Buy-side company in drafting and executing all the legal documents and agreements required for the buying over of a wholesale vegetable business valued at least SGD1.6 million.
Acted for a Michelin Bib Gourmand F&B company in relation to corporate and valuation matters.
Advised a private-dining F&B set up in resolving a tenancy dispute involving an established property development and a building construction company.
Acted for an ex-Grab-driver charged under the Road Traffic Act and successfully obtained a favourable outcome for the ex-Grab driver.
Acted for an Individual Creditor in relation to a loan dispute. Obtained a favourable judgment for the Creditor and succeeded in the bankruptcy application against the Debtor.

Ronald Yeo, Of Counsel
Ronald commenced his career as an economist before his admission to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor. He brings a robust civil litigation practice encompassing community law, family law (divorce), contractual disputes, directors’ duties, bankruptcy, defamation, property disputes, and debt recovery.
Additionally, he specializes in personal client matters, offering expertise in Will drafting, Lasting Power of Attorney (including certificate issuer services), and the administration of Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.

• Successfully defended a tenant against a landlord’s claim for damages caused by subtenants, absolving the tenant of liability despite contractual obligations and lack of direct agreement.
• Advised a commercial laundromat company prior to her hearing at the Community Disputes Resolution Tribunal (CDRT), securing the striking out application against the neighbour who had alleged that the fume emissions was from the laundromat.
• Successfully negotiated a fair and reasonable severance package for a C-suite executive unfairly dismissed without a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), avoiding a lengthy dispute resolution via Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM).
• Liaised with a statutory board to ensure the prosecution of the rightful culprit for traffic offences related to a purchase of a non-LTA compliant e-bike by the client, absolving the client of responsibility for issues stemming from the seller.
• Secured judgment and successfully executed enforcement proceedings against defaulting commercial tenants causing business disruption, leading to seizure and sale of assets.
• Secured the transfer of a matrimonial flat to a wife-client in divorce proceedings without any cash payout to the husband, despite complex family circumstances.
